It's been a while since my last post due to the sudden onslaught of Christmas. I must have missed the memo. So it's been rush, shop, drop everything, search the Internet, price compare, tear your hair out, normal Christmas frenzy type stuff. It leaves little time for the things I REALLY want to do.
I have been trying to get out into the shop more. Been upgrading some tools and ridding myself of useless ones. I have been learning that I really know absolutely NOTHING about wood working. It's been a lot of fun when I could squeeze it in here and there. My Christmas wish list grows daily with new tools, books, jigs, bits, blades, etc. etc. Due to the fact that it IS Christmas, I cannot divulge what might be in the works.
Gaming has really taken a back seat to everything. There is NOTHING computer related on my wish list this year. The whole Core i7/X58 dream is way off as I follow along in the forums with the trials and tribulations of the early adopters. Sometimes patience IS a virtue. The ONLY game that might be on my wish list would be Call of Duty: World at War and I have too many other games I haven't finished to even consider it.
So bring on the New Year where things slow down again, I work insane overtime to pay Christmas bills and still have NO time for the things I REALLY want to do. Life is grand.
